The Latitude Compass, operated by Darren Bennett, is an Independent Travel Advisor affiliated with InteleTravel ABTA P7384. When you contact The Latitude Compass directly, I may collect and use your personal information to respond to your enquiry and, where requested, arrange your travel.
When a booking is made through InteleTravel, your personal information may also be processed by InteleTravel UK Limited and the relevant travel suppliers and service providers involved in arranging your trip. Those organisations may have their own privacy policies and data protection responsibilities.

Depending on how you interact with The Latitude Compass, I may collect:

If you provide personal information about another traveller, you should ensure that you have permission to provide their information to me and, where appropriate, make this Privacy Policy available to them. Where information concerns a child, it should normally be provided by a parent, guardian or authorised adult.

I may collect information directly from you through:

- face-to-face or other conversations.
I may also receive information from a lead traveller or another person arranging travel on your behalf, as well as from InteleTravel, travel suppliers and other parties involved in your enquiry or booking.

4. How and why I use your information
I will only use your personal information where there is a lawful basis for doing so. I may use your information to:
Respond to enquiries and research travel options
To respond to your request, research suitable travel options and prepare recommendations or quotations.
Arrange and manage bookings
To arrange travel, communicate with relevant travel suppliers and InteleTravel, manage bookings and provide customer support.
Provide travel-related information and documents
To provide quotations, booking confirmations, travel information and other documents relevant to your arrangements.

To comply with applicable legal, accounting, regulatory and other obligations.
Manage my business
To maintain appropriate business, booking, financial, complaint and compliance records and protect the security of my systems and services.

As an Independent Travel Advisor affiliated with InteleTravel ABTA P7384, bookings arranged through The Latitude Compass may be processed through InteleTravel's systems and booking arrangements.
Depending on the travel arrangements involved, relevant information may be shared with InteleTravel and the appropriate travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, cruise companies, tour operators, transfer providers, excursion providers and travel insurance providers.
These organisations may process your information under their own privacy policies and terms.
You should therefore also review the privacy information provided by InteleTravel and any relevant travel supplier when making a booking.
6. Marketing
Where I send marketing communications, I will do so only where I have a lawful basis to do so.
Marketing may include travel inspiration, useful travel information, selected offers and updates from The Latitude Compass.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided or by contacting me at:
Unsubscribing from marketing will not affect service communications relating to an enquiry or booking.
I do not sell your personal information or share it with unrelated organisations for their own marketing purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.
7. Who I may share information with
Where necessary, I may share relevant personal information with:
- InteleTravel UK Limited and relevant companies within the InteleTravel group;
- airlines, cruise companies, tour operators and other travel suppliers;
- hotels, accommodation providers and other hospitality businesses;
- transfer, excursion and activity providers;
- travel insurance providers;
- payment and banking providers where relevant;
- technology and business-service providers supporting my email, website, communications, document storage, security and other business functions;
- professional advisers, accountants and insurers;

I will only share information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
8. International transfers
Travel arrangements can involve organisations and service providers located outside the United Kingdom.
Where necessary to research, book or provide your travel arrangements, relevant personal information may therefore be transferred to organisations or service providers outside the UK, including in the country you are travelling to.
Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, appropriate safeguards or another permitted transfer mechanism will be used.
9. How long I keep your information
I will retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
The length of time I retain information will depend on the nature of the information, the services provided and any legal, accounting, regulatory, contractual or dispute-resolution requirements.
Booking and transaction information may need to be retained for several years to meet applicable legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
Information relating to unsuccessful enquiries will be reviewed and deleted when it is no longer reasonably required.
Where sensitive information, such as passport or accessibility information, is collected, I will seek to retain it only for as long as necessary for the relevant travel arrangements or other legitimate purpose.
Marketing information will generally be retained while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I may retain limited information necessary to ensure that I do not send you further marketing communications.
10. Security
I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
Access to personal information is restricted to those who have a legitimate business need to access it.
No internet or email service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send payment-card details by ordinary email.
11. Cookies and website services
We do not use non-essential cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking technologies such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may set an essential security cookie (__cf_bm) to protect the site from bots and abuse. This is necessary for functionality and security and does not require consent.
We measure anonymous visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you or track you across websites.
If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future that require consent, we will ask for your consent first and give you clear choices.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to:
